The principle islands include, Zealand, Falstria, Fembria, Fionia, Langelandia, Mona and Lalandia. Copenhagen is shown with its fortifications among other cities, castles rivers and forests. The cartouche shows the crowned coat of arms of Denmark with mermen and cherubs. Most fascinating is the view of the Sound that separates Denmark from Sweden. The castle Cronenburg, (famous form Hamlet), Helsingoer and Copenhagen on the Danish side and Malmo on the Swedish side among other towns, as three cogs sail past.
