Published in the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, the worlds first true modern atlas. Was issued starting in 1573 threw 1612. Published in Antwerp, was the most expensive book in history up to that point. Ortelius maps were the first to give credit to others for their contributions. Ortelius maps are decorative and beautiful and highly collectible.
Moravia is shown with its fortified cities in the form of red towers, with rivers flowing threw the country.
