The coin, weighing 9.5 grams and measuring 27 mm in diameter, showcases on the obverse a bust of Athena wearing a Corinthian helmet, which is adorned with a wreath. The reverse features a depiction of a hippocampus, a mythical sea creature with the head of a horse and the tail of a fish.
